“el”
Hi! It’s the first day of Randy’s Birthday Art Bonanza (see this post for details)!
Today we have “El” in orange (the original color; more colors were added later). This one is stretched canvas, 16″ x 24.5″. A larger version of this was used in a Super Bowl Taco Bell commercial in 2009 (you can view that here).
This photo was taken in the “Boneyard” in Las Vegas, in 2007. Now it’s a museum, but then it was just a big field where all the old neon signs went to die.
