Lost… Finally finished this 24×36 desert inspired piece. There are days lately, I feel adrift with all the uncertainty. Even through intentional unplugging/distancing, extended quiet times and prayer, the desert still calls. The desert has always been a place of peace and refuge. Mainly because it’s so desolate and quiet.
Inspired by Johnny Cash’s lyrics in “Lost on the desert” , this high contrast, mono chromatic piece has all the texture, shade shifts and tone on tone grays and blacks that make this a special piece.
