I’ve been quietly working in the background on a lot of things while I’ve been focused on the Fine Art side of things.
For anyone new here, Mike Moroski was one of the first people we met when we landed in Cincinnati back in May of 2010.
Actually, if memory serves me still Leisa was journaling our travels across the States and knew of him as well as many others who were welcoming us to Cincy before we had even landed there. We met him and Mike Rogers early on a Sunday morning our first weekend there over at Choices Cafe that they co-ran together. We knew instantly we’d be friends with these guys for life.
13 years later and we are still collaborating on visuals for his various projects.
From branding Mike’s run for City Council to the Cincinnati School Board and now this, branding and graphics for his band.
Mike and I hop around a little bit from Grateful Dead inspired visuals to to 80’s heavy metal and back to 60’s psychedelic with a modern twist.
So here are a few of the most recent logo/graphics that we’ve come up with for him to create some small batch runs at his shows.
Above is the retro 80’s heavy metal logo that will be used for stickers and t-shirts. I’d totally wear this!
Magic Mushrooms Skull Illustration
This 60’s inspired psychedelic logo and lettering was an idea I had floating around in my mind when he sent me the AC/DC inspiration. I’d seen a few resources floating around on Creative Market. In typical Mike style he responded with YES! YES! YES!
