Hey everyone!

Spring is finally here and I spent a good portion of the last few weeks focused on curating, refreshing and creating some new smaller sized originals.

At little back story from late last year.

I decided to take the Winter Solstice as a time to quiet things down, spent a bunch of time in reflection and looked at all that I had created in 2023.

One thing that stood out was that I hadn’t been creating any larger work. So much of 2023 was smaller pieces for the pop-up markets.

Another realization was I ended up making stuff that really didn’t meet my goals on quality or add to my larger collections. I love making things with my hands, spending time out in the shop and solving problems.

All three of those things help keep me moving and lowers my levels of anxiety.

So, the big ? and take away in late January was “is there a way to make some frames with stock that I already had?’

The immediate answer was “YES!” Between Heather and I we came up with this simple, stylish solution; thin-ripped, 1.5″ deep, natural stained wood frames that just elevate these smaller pieces to a different level.

Here’s a sample of some of these pieces and I couldn’t be more stoked on how they turned out.
