If you step back you might recognize the silhouette of a face or two.
In this piece I wanted to let loose a little bit and see what anxiety might look like visually.
Initially, I had started this piece rotated 180 degrees but it wasn’t flowing. I wanted more energy, more darkness and this feeling of being tired. Worn out.
Eventually, this started to take shape whether intentional or not, it reminded me of a boxers face, beaten and bruised.
For an enneagram 6 this is what our life can feel like when the anxiety that we re face daily is left unchecked. The hope in this piece is the golden stitches.
And while the eye is closed and in the process of healing, it’s also not taking in all this info we 6’s are bombarded with each day.
It’s also a reminder that we don’t have to be in the ring all the time. To seek rest and truth.
