Canvas prints to framed prints to smaller matted and unframed prints, will be available to order online at  SHOP ART until 12/31/2023. I am discontinuing this service to focus more on creating originals.

I enjoy painting abstract landscapes with deep texture and lots of layering with media and colors. I am open to creating commissioned paintings with the requirement that the style and subject matter remain true and consistent to my body of work. I will not accept any commissions in which I’m asked to paint like another artist or copy someone else’s work.

I primarily do studio work, creating paintings from my own place of intention and creativity. To provide the best work for each client, I will only schedule one commission at a time. Commission work is folded into my daily schedule and I’ll work on it sporadically and between drying times.

I typically require 4-6 weeks from beginning to final touches of the piece. Most pieces are done on standard sizes canvases. Multiple canvases can be merged together to fit a desired space (an additional week is required if a non-standard size of stretcher bars is specified).

There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required to schedule and begin your piece. Balance, sales tax and shipping are due upon approval. If the final painting is not approved, I will not require the balance and will attempt to sell the painting from my studio.

The prices listed above are for an unframed, 1 1/2″ gallery wrap high quality stretcher bar, original painting, with gallery wrapped edges in case you decide not to frame it. All paintings come with hanging hardware installed on the back and are ready to hang.

Commissions are one of a kind pieces that are created specifically for each client. I don’t not make multiples of the same concept that is created for you. I also retain the right to photograph and use for marketing purposes but will not create hi-res paper or canvas prints of commissioned pieces.

Framing is the customer’s responsibility and expense.

Delivery/shipping and hanging are an additional fee for time and expense. I prefer to work in standard sizes so that I can purchase high quality pre-streched canvas. Any custom sizes are an additional $500 (for time/expense/materials and sometimes travel).

I do not paint photorealistically. I am guided by color palette samples such as paint chips and/or textiles and other interior design elements you may be inspired by.  I’m happy to send progress images and/or have facetime consults while the work in process so you are able to see how your custom piece is progressing.
